Houston Commissioning Manager
Joshua Barnhart has over 14 years of experience in building commissioning, energy management and building automation with a majority of that in laboratory systems, hospitals and institutional campuses.
Joshua is a Building Automation System and Energy Management specialist. He is responsible for testing and troubleshooting Building Automation Systems controlling central plants, hospitals and research laboratories. He has extensive knowledge in lighting controls and systems as well as Measurement and Verification of energy usage. He uses his BAS controls knowledge to oversee EAB’s in-house testing laboratory where control system vendors and laboratory tracking system manufacturers send their products to be tested. Joshua is also in charge of quality control and calibration verification of all field instrumentation used by the Houston office.
Joshua is a Certified Test and Balance Technician through the Associated Air Balance Council, a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) through the Association of Energy Engineers, a Certified Energy Management Professional (EMP) and a Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) through the AABC Commissioning Group. He has extensive experience in animal facilities, BSL laboratories and healthcare space. Joshua has actively managed and participated in commissioning activities for the last five years developing commissioning documents and performing commissioning on numerous systems and system integrations.
