Vice President / Houston Branch Manager
After graduating from Louisiana Tech University in 2002 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Justin started his career with the firm as a field technician. He developed keen insight into the complex systems required for K-12, healthcare and laboratory projects, and advanced to a TAB Project Manager position.
Justin helped develop the company-wide commissioning program and progressed to the position of Commissioning Manager for the Houston office. He helped design and oversee installation of our Houston testing laboratory, and laid the foundation for our rigorous field instrument and calibration verification procedures. Justin was promoted to Branch Manager of our Houston office in 2015 and became a Vice President in 2016.
A Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas, Justin is a LEED Accredited Professional, an AABC certified TBE and an AABC Commissioning Group Certified Commissioning Authority. He is an ASHRAE Member and is actively involved in all of the national committees associated with Building Commissioning. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences for ASHRAE, AABC and ACG. He is also the past Chairman of ASHRAE TC 7.7 on Testing, Adjusting and Balancing and the current Secretary of ASHRAE Guideline 0: The Commissioning Process. He also serves as the Chairman of the ACG Certification Council overseeing the CxA certification process.
